Thanks for this post! It was really helpful in trying to get a unison setup working for my own server. Just wanted to share a piece of information – if you compile the unison binary beforehand, you can use ‘scp’ to copy it to the GoDaddy server. From there, ‘chmod +x’ the binary and place it in ~/bin, as its already part of the path. You can now use unison over an ssh connection.
